About Us and Our Mission

Panda and Friends is a non-profit patient community in China, founded in November 2019 by cancer patients and families, primarily supporting those affected by colorectal, gastric, and hepatobiliary-pancreatic cancers. Through 100+ WeChat-based patient groups organized by disease type, genetic profile, and region, we have connected and supported around 100,000 registered patients and welcome 100–150 newly diagnosed members daily, including many seeking care in major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, as well as communities in the US and EU. We are dedicated to patient empowerment and advocacy by providing balanced, evidence-based education, closing information gaps across regions, and connecting patients with leading doctors and clinical resources nationwide. Our vision is to help ensure equitable access to diagnosis, testing, treatment, and care for every patient, wherever they are.
